BARTENDING NC II (438 Hours/ 55 Days)

The BARTENDING NC ll Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to operate a bar, to prepare and mix cocktails and non-alcoholic concoctions and to provide basic wine service to guests in all food and beverage service providers except for “Specialty Coffee Shops”.

BOOKKEEPING NC III (292 Hours/ 37 Days)

The BOOKKEEPING NC III Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to journalize transactions, to post transactions, to prepare trial balance, to prepare financial reports and to review internal control system.

BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION NC III (141Hours/ 18 Days)

The BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION NC II Qualification consists of competencies that person must achieve to be able to clean equipment , tools and utensils and to prepare, portion and plate pastries, breads and other dessert items to guests in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, canteens, resorts and luxury lines/cruises and other related operations.

COOKERY NC II (316 Hours/40 Days)

The COOKERY NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to clean kitchen areas, prepare hot, cold meals and desserts for guests in various food and beverage service facilities

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE NC II (402 hours/ 51 Days)

The Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to install and to maintain electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment and systems where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts in residential houses/buildings.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II (356 Hours/ 45 Days)

The FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities.

HOUSEKEEPING NC II (436 Hours/ 55 Days)

The HOUSEKEEPING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare guest rooms, to clean public areas and equipment, to provide housekeeping services, to provide valet services, to handle intoxicated guest, and to laundry linen and guest clothes to a range of accommodation services.

SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (SMAW) NC II (268 hours/ 34 Days)

The Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to weld carbon steel plate and pipe components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using shielded metal arc welding equipment.

This Qualification conforms with American Welding Society (AWS) D 1.1 Structural Welding Code; American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code; American Petroleum Institute (API) 1104 Code for Gas and Oil Pipeline Facilities; and International Standards Organization (ISO) 9606-1 Qualification of Welders for Steel.

SHIP’S CATERING SERVICES NC I (50 Hours/7 Days)

The SHIP’S CATERING SERVICES NC I Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve in performing mess hall service, performing housekeeping services and providing assistance in receiving and storing provisions and supplies.

TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL I (264 Hours/ 33 Days)

The TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL I consists of competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of trainer and assessor must achieve. A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group of learners to develop competencies to perform a particular trade or technical work.
